Nicki Minaj called out Christina Milian yesterday for plastering “Pretty On Fleek” on a new t-shirt line, a phrase Onika rapped on her Beyonce-featuring track “Feeling Myself.” While “on fleek” never belonged to Minaj, Milian’s t-shirt logo bears a suspicious resemblance to Nicki’s “Kitty on fleek, pretty on fleek” bar, and the rapper took issue with that publicly.
In an Instagram post, Minaj made light of Milian’s new t-shirts and joked about wanting a royalty. Milian quickly responded and the fellow Young Money stars ironed out the issue shortly after on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the true “on fleek” originator hasn’t been forgotten, but she probably won’t be getting any royalties.
