Hip-hop culture is everywhere, and even universities have been cashing in. Boston College is the latest to use hip-hop’s global influence to boost registration, and recently took a cue from Drake to hype recruits.

Boston College, in particular, is using this approach for select recruits. No word on whether the Franklin Heights wide receiver will accept, but it’s cool to see colleges step their game up. Harvard created a Nas hip-hop fellowship in 2013. Rutgers University offered a class on Beyonce in 2014. Let’s not forget the other universities to jump on the hip-hop bandwagon. Bun B is currently teaching a course on religion in hip-hop at Rice University.
