Iconic Queensbridge rapper Nas is being accused of refusing to pay close to $300,000 in state taxes and is now being hunted by the Department of Revenue for his assets, according to reports on theJasmineBRAND.

The publication reports that back in 2009, Nas was hit with a lien from the Georgia Department of Revenue for failing to pay a total of $276,439.80 in unpaid state taxes for 2006.

As the story goes, Nas reportedly hasn’t paid the debt for close to 10 years. Subsequently, the state has been attempting to find his assets to seize.

According to documentation filed in Georgia on April 3, the Department of Revenue has re-filed the tax lien. In addition, it’s reported that following their investigation, the department found no property of assets that belong to Nas.
