B.B King’s Cause Of Death Revealed, Legend Suffered Small Series Of Strokes
Earlier this week, the world shook as we all learned legendary blues singer/guitarist B.B King passed away at the age of 89.
Now, Coroner Fudenberg reveals King’s cause of death. According to Complex:
Dr. Darin Brimhall (King’s physician) and Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg (coroner in Las Vegas) told AP that King died of “a series of small strokes attributable to his longstanding battle with type 2 diabetes.” The medical term is called multi-infarct dementia and sometimes referred to as MID.
Brimhall says King’s stroke came from an unhealthy fluctuation in blood sugar levels. It resulted in his blood flow slowing down as a consequence of his ongoing battle with diabetes.
May B.B King rest in peace.
