Whatever issues Beanie Sigel had with Jay Z when Beans aligned himself with 50 Cent in 2009 appear to be water under the bridge. The self-proclaimed “Broad Street Bully” joined Young Chris and Freeway to reunite key players from State Property’s former Roc-A-Fella crew Saturday night as Jay Z performed his B-Sides show. Jay pretty much made it a Roc reunion from the jump as Beanie Sigel surprised guests by joining in on a performance of “You, Me, Him & Her” as the show’s opener.

Surprise guests also included Jeezy and Jay Electronica, and Jay Z continued defending his TIDAL streaming service with an address to the crowd and a new freestyle.

“So I’m the bad guy now I hear,” Jay said, in regards to recent TIDAL backlash. “All because I don’t go with the flow and ain’t nobody taking advantage of me. And I love my ni**as…I don’t know why everyone is acting like this is brand new. They ain’t give me a record contract, so I made my own record company…I’m never gonna go with the flow. I’m never gonna let nobody take over our music. I see s**t that maybe you don’t see.”

The show, which was streamed on TIDAL, featured roughly 40 album cuts and generally drew positive reviews.

“Turns out sitting in your bed for two hours and streaming Jay Z on Tidal is every bit as fun as watching any wish-you-were-there show through a computer screen,” wrote Jason Silverstein of the New York Daily News.
