When you’re hot, you don’t let a chance to put out an album slip away. The Weeknd knows this, and Future does so, too. Future has been on a creative renaissance that’s resulted in a string of great mixtapes, a Billboard hit in “Commas” and a recognition of the lord’s blessings in “Trap N***as.”
Rev. Future is taking advantage of the hype by releasing Dirty Sprite 2, a sequel to the 2011 mixtape. It’s coming way sooner than The Weeknd’s new album — as in next Friday. The 18-track retail release will also feature “Commas” — and more Futuristic goodness.
