Slim Lives It Up With Rich Homie Quan In "Never Break Up" Video
Slim Lives It Up With Rich Homie Quan In “Never Break Up” Video [EXCLUSIVE]
The return of Slim continues.
After dropping the Rich Homie Quan assisted banger “Never Break Up” back in March, 112’s Slim is finally ready to deliver the Kevin Terrell-directed visuals. Premiered with The Urban Daily, the dark and sexy video finds Slim and Rich Homie enjoying the night life in a club filled with women rocking masquerade masks with matching lingerie.
The song fits perfectly between Slim’s classic R&B roots and the evolving genre that R&B has become. Slim’s catchy and melodic verse are akin to offerings on “U Already Know,” and “Peaches & Cream.” Match those characteristics with the bouncy, bass heavy beat and you’ve got a hit.
Rich Homie Quan starts the track off with a verse before he lets Slim take the reins. The meshing of the two worlds was Slim’s idea from the very beginning.
“Rich Homie Quan is someone that I have wanted to work with. I brought Rich Homie Quan to my world of urban mainstream R&B and it turned out amazing,” said Slim.
Check out the video up top and be sure to preorder the album, REFUELED, dropping on May 13 on iTunes.
