Kanye West Slams Kid Cudi After Twitter Diss: ‘I Birthed You’
Kid Cudi opened up about the state of the music industry on Wednesday, calling out all the rappers her feels isn’t as dope as they make people believe.
In his epic rant, Cudi mentioned his former mentor Kanye West as someone he no longer respects and admires because he feels Ye abandoned him. But you can’t pull a Kanye on Kanye. The “Famous” singer clapped back at his former G.O.O.D Music signee during a stop on his Saint Pablo tour while performing “I Don’t Like.”
Yeezy stopped the music to address the situation, saying “Kid Cudi, don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. I birthed you. We all dealing with that emo shit all the time… Don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. Don’t try to say who I can do songs with. You mad ’cause I’m doing songs with Drake. Ain’t nobody telling ‘Ye who to do songs with. Respect the God!”
Drake even through a little subtle shade during his tour stop in Oakland, saying, “Boy you getting way too high you need to Cud-iiiittttt.”
