On his Tumblr page, Ocean wrote “‘As an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”
Even though Ocean has put the incident behind him, Brown might be in violation of his probation, following his 2009 assault against Rihanna.
Brown and Ocean both are nominated in the best urban contemporary album category at the Grammys Awards, which airs on CBS, Sunday February 10th.
