As another Jackie Robinson Day in Major League Baseball approaches, Hollywood is joining in the celebration of his life with the new film “42.” Starring Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson, the movie follows the uphill battle Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers faced when he broke down the color barrier in the sport. Harrison Ford also stars in the film as the Brooklyn Dodgers’ team manager Branch Rickey. Along with many other people in the world, Ford and Boseman believe this is a story that needs to be told so people can get the full understanding of the trials and tribulations Robinson had to go through. Make sure you check out the film when it slides into theaters April 12th.
