VIA DX:

T-Wayne, an album by T-Pain and Lil Wayne, was one of the most anticipated albums of the year. However, with the Weezy album, Rebirth, being pushed back several times, some believed the T-Wayne album would never come. Recently, T-Pain spoke with MTV on why fans shouldn’t worry.

We got 12 songs right now,” Pain told MTV. “We going slow; there’s no rush. It can come out whenever. We’re gonna keep it pushing, however. It’s gonna be pushed.”

He went on to speak about the amount of hype around the collaborative project.

T-Wayne is an entity that’s just gonna take over a side of the game. It’s two artists that done collaborated with every artist in the industry except each other. Being that we getting together, this T-Wayne movement is getting crazy.”

The two have not been in the studio together much. Instead, they have opted to mail tracks to each other to work even while they are apart.

He’s sending me blank tracks, I’m sending him blank tracks. He’s sending me tracks with hooks, I’m sending him tracks with hooks. It’s just our hectic schedules are keeping us from recording. … But we both have studios on the bus. So we take that tour bus anywhere we go – it’s a done deal.”

Again, no finalized release date has been set. The Urban Daily will keep you posted.
