Metta World Peace is coming home. According to ESPN Queensbridge, NY native has signed a two-year deal with the New York Knicks with one year guaranteed. The forward was amnestied by the Los Angles Lakers and cleared waivers on Sunday.

The baller formerly known as Ron Artest may either be confused about his new employer or be sending a warning to his crosstown rivals. His first tweet after the news was the inexplicable, “Where Brooklyn at?”

Madison Square Garden, The Knicks home, is in Manhattan. The Nets play at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  Geography be damned, Peace will miss his old digs of Los Angeles and gave several reasons why:

“I’m gonna miss the LA Times and Melissa and Mark Medina!!”

Ron Artest read the paper? We thinks..

“I’m gonna miss Staples Center chanting ‘World Peace ,World Peace.'”

Did this ever happen? We thinks…

“I’m gonna miss jack Nicholson and my floor seat buddies!!!!!!!”

But will Jack Nicholson miss Ron Ron? We thinks…

“I’m gonna miss all my usher friends and staples security”

Especially this guy Ted Vagina (yes, that’s his real name) who looks just like Will Ferrell.

“I’m gonna miss Berries late night and Infusion lounge at City Walk”

We thinks Metta World Peace will find plenty of clubs in NY to get “turnt up” in.

“I’m gonna miss dockwieler beach and Venice beach chin up bars. I’m gonna miss walking around Beverly Hills and the Drew league..”

Chin ups at the beach can’t compare to working out on a stop sign in NY. Welcome home Ron Ron.
