Days after the verdict of the Trayvon Martin murder case was determined, Lil Wayne decided to release his music video for “God Bless Amerika.” The video features the New Orleans native surveying the area of his city years after the Hurricane Katrina disaster. The single originally received a large amount of criticism due to claims that Weezy stepped on the American flag while shooting the video.
