Polow Da Don Launches His Own Foundation
Producer Polow Da Don and his label, Zone 4, Inc. have joined forces with the American Cancer Society and Upscale magazine to launch the F.O.C.U.S. foundation.
The foundation, which stands for “Focusing On Completion Until Successful,” had a pre-launch reception titled “Cancers For A Cause,” at the W Atlanta Downtown yesterday (July 15), and will have a 2nd year anniversary fashion event for Zone 4, Inc. titled “Full Moon: A Night of Stars,” held at Club Opera tonight (July 16).
F.O.C.U.S. concentrates on promoting a desire for education, interpersonal skills, networking and marketability within the community, and aims to provide assistance in these areas by way of various programs, seminars and panels to generate individuals with these abilities.
Speaking on the foundation’s first pre-launch event, Zone 4, Inc. General Manager Mia A. Welsh said, “Cancer affects everyone, and we want to take this opportunity to educate and raise awareness amongst our peers and the Atlanta community as a whole,”
The second event will feature a high-end fashion show attributing the success of Zone 4, as well as future of F.O.C.U.S.
