For The Win shared a new commercial that made everyone who saw it gasp from it’s greatness. The Duracell ad stars the Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman. Coleman is the first deaf offensive player to ever play in the NFL.
He was not drafted in the 2012 NFL season although he was a bonafide star when he was at at UCLA.
However this season the city of Seattle recognized that Coleman was a winner and he made the Seahawk’s team. Check out his story in his own words in the video below!
In his first game with the team, he had 3 catches for 30 yards, and he also caught a touchdown pass against the Saints in the Monday Night Football game on December 2nd.
If this story doesn’t make you want to root for Seattle to win the whole thing this year despite what a big fan you may be of another team…then you have no soul! We wish Derrick Coleman and his entire team a great rest of the season! And we thank him for sharing his inspirational story!
