Michael B. Jordan has recently become the talk of Hollywood after his moving portrayal of a slain African American male in “Fruitvale Station,” but this was not the beginning of his budding acting career. Michael B. Jordan has appeared in several movies and television shows, including “Chronicle,” a role that was essentially rewritten for Jordan.

Jordan’s audition impressed director Josh Trank so much that he rewrote the role and Jordan was awarded the lead role in “Chronicle.” “Chronicle” went on to become a $123 million box office success.

“That role was originally for a white guy,” Jordan reveals. “I got it and they changed it. Those are the type of colorless roles that I want, that I’m looking forward to playing.”
