Singer Jhene Aiko has been building a solid buzz since she hit the scene with her mixtape “Sailing Souls” was released in 2011. Since then, she’s put her stamp on records by Drake and Cocaine 80s. As she puts the finishing touches other debut album, Jhene Aiko released a song called “My Afternoon Dream.”

Aiko dropped the new song in honor of her 26th birthday. The song calls to mind a warm spring day where you don’t have anything to do but relax. Produced by Key Wane, Jhene uses her soothing signature vocals to add to the song’s ambiance. To accompany the smooth song, Aiko shot a video with a friend during a vacation to Maui. Aiko and her friend edited the clip in iMovie.
