Rapper 50 Cent is really kicking his career into high gear this year. Not only is the rap mogul preparing to release his fifth album “Animal Ambition,” he just landed a role in a comedy starring high profile actors like Melissa McCarthy, Nia Long and Jude Law.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is titled “Spy” and will center around Melissa McCarthy who plays a CIA agent. As the CIA agent, McCarthy has never been out in the field. The film will show her experience of being put in the field for the first time. The film went through a name change before the script landed on 50’s desk. The project was initially titled “Susan Cooper.”

50 Cent will be playing himself in the film. However, Jason Statham will be hanging up his action star persona in order to play a clumsy CIA analyst. Jude law’s character is the super spy who uses his good looks as a weapon. It’s unknown the role Nia Long will play, but she is apart of the cast. As for 50 Cent, details are scarce as to how his part will be written into the plot of the action comedy.

50 showed his excitement for his latest role by tweeting, “I be hustling like a motherfvcker right. LMAO THIS IS A BIG ONE.”
