Chicago R&B singer Jeremih is back to heat up the summer with a bound-heavy new single called “Don’t Tell Em.” The single is lifted of the singer’s upcoming third album “Thumpy Johnson.” The feel good summer anthem also features a verse from West Coast rapper YG and is produced by DJ Mustard and Mick Schultz.

One of the things that makes “Don’t Tell Em” so catchy is the replayed interpolation of Snap‘s 1992 hit song “Rhythm Is A Dancer.” However, the two songs are very different. While the original is all about dancing and having a good time, Jeremih’s version is about doing the horizontal mambo behind her man’s back.

When asked about the follow-up to his 2010 album “All About You,” Jeremih said, “What I make is kind of like drugs for your ears. It’s definitely for the trunk, it’s definitely for the streets. It’s definitely for everybody. It’s a lot of thump for your trunk and just crack music for the streets.”
