The spirit of prepubescent teens screaming for their favorite pop artists was back when MTV brought the beloved music video countdown show “TRL – Total Request Live” back for one day with current pop sensation Ariana Grande. During the half hour special, Grande interacted with the audience members, talked to host Sway and performed a few songs.
One of the songs she performed was A$AP Rocky’s hit song “F**king Problems.” It started out as a game where Ariana was supposed to spin the wheel and see which song it landed on. Then spin another wheel which decided in what style she was to sing said song. Grande didn’t leave it up to chance and chose to sing the A$AP track Broadway style.
Watch how the censors had to really earn their paychecks.
