The fourth installment in the “Transformers” movie franchise, “Age Of Extinction” has been the number one movie in America for two weeks, has already grossed $174 Million domestically and $400 million internationally. Clocking in at almost three hours some fans have called it a tad excessive and paint-by-numbers example of “Bayhem.”

However, one super fan has shown cinematic promise with his four-minute stop-motion tribute to the warriors of Cybertron. Youtube member harrisloureiro spent the better part of a year composing the masterpiece below.

“I have done shooting the stopmotion on Sep 2013 and start the editing on May 2014,” he writes. “Took me more then(sic) a month to do the editing with the special effects and the sound FX. Although some of the sound is not balance (sic) well. Make sure you keep your speaker at low volume for ear safety :p”

Watch as Optimus Prime takes on the Constructicons in an epic battle where he doesn’t get punked for once.
