If anyone ever told you that miracles don’t happen, they haven’t seen this video. Kayden Kinckles was born with Omphalocele, which is an abdominal wall defect where the intestines, liver, and other organs are outside of the abdomen. While the condition is rare, children who are born with the defect have a high mortality rate.

Kayden, 2, has already gone through two surgeries after being born, and in January his right foot and left leg were amputated. Since then, he’s gotten prosthetics and a new walker to learn how to walk and run. “The recent surgery was the first step that had to be made before Kayden can take his first step,” his father Kayden wrote on Facebook.

So on July 4, Kayden took his very first steps, and his mother captured it all on video. Throughout his walk, he cheers himself on by saying, “I got this!”

In the YouTube video his mother Nikki wrote, “We celebrate his life as well and every step he takes will be to glorify God. We want the world to know his testimony!!! … My family is so happy that God used Kayden Elijah Kinckle to encourage and inspire so many people!!”

His family has set up a GoFundMe page for his medical expenses if anyone wishes to donate. Click here.

Simply beautiful.
