The 10th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival was one for the books. Headliners Raekwon and Jay Electronica redefined summer madness as they rocked the capacity crowd at Kent Ave in Williamsburg. After performances by Chyi The Prynce, Barrel Brothers, Buckshot and more, Jay Electronica shocked the audience when he brought out Talib Kweli, J. Cole and Jay Z during his set.
The two Js performed their three collabs including “We Made It,” as well as some Jigga Man solo hits. When it was all said and done Hove ceremoniously removed his Nation of God’s and Earths chain and gave it to Jay Elec, who was dressed in full FOI regalia.
