Jigga Man, once again, at his best!

Uncasville, CT–We should be so blessed. In his only New England appearance this year, Brooklyn’s best, ‘ I’m the best rapper alive,’ Jay-Z, was at his lyrical and braggadocios best, balanced with wit, humor and vivid social commentary citing ‘I’m a small reason why the President is Black.’ Hits flew fast and furiously in a 1.5 hour set packed with hit upon hit from his 13 year catalog.

His verbal prowlness was evident on hits ‘Hard Knock Life’ and ’99 Problems’. He even sampled from remix collaboration with other rappers ‘My President & Diamonds from Sierra Leone’. Always one of conscience, Hov even paid tribute to Micheal Jackson asking for a moment of silence and noted ‘Let’s not mourn death. Let’s celebrate life’.

Jay-Z’s 10 piece band and hype man Memphis Bleek didn’t have to stoke the already boisterous sing-a-long (10,000+) crowd. Even Jigga man conceded, ‘I just got in from Chicago. And I thought they were loud. Damn, you got them beat!’

Jay-Z closed the show with ‘Encore’ citing ‘ I hoping the game tables are as good to you as you were to me.’ No doubt.
