Diem Brown, who first appeared on “Real World/Road Rules Challenge Fresh Meat,” has just died from cancer at 32.

People confirms that the reality star passed away in New York City today (November 14) after a bout with stomach and colon cancer. The disease soon spread to her liver and lymph nodes. While filming an upcoming season of “The Challenge” in Panama back in August, Brown collapsed on set and was then airlifted to New York City where she was diagnosed with colon cancer.

“I want people to know that the fight is worth it,” she told PEOPLE in October. “And that’s something that’s so important for me.”

“That was a shocker to me,” she said at the time. “I was blown away. It really crushed a little bit of my spirit.”

She was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she was just 23 and then again in 2012. Since her most recent diagnosis, she had two emergency surgeries including a hysterectomy.

“No matter what it is, you’re going to have the bad days, but if you have hope throughout, you won, no matter what the results,” she said in October. “Life is so beautiful.”
