Billboard.com reports that Whalerock Industries, a tech company based in Santa Monica, CA, is helping to create Internet TV channels for various celebrities, among them Howard Stern, the Kardashian sisters, and Tyler himself. His presence as a musician, rapper, writer, clothing designer, and general fire starter is wild enough, but what madness would he call down if he were to run his own channel? It’s safe to assume that a channel run by Tyler would be fueled by anarchic DIY aesthetic that fuels much of Adult Swim, FX’s Animation Domination block, and most of Odd Future’s TV/video efforts. Here’s what we’d imagine Tyler The Creator’s Network programming would look like.
Weekly Loiter Squad marathons (Monday-Thursday 4:00-8:00, Saturday-Sunday 2:00-6:00)
Remember how FXX acquired the rights to The Simpsons and decided to use the show to pad out its airtime? I can only imagine this new channel doing something similar, at least at first.
Tyler Time with Finn and Jake (Mondays 8:00 p.m.-8:15)
Tyler becomes the second human left in The Land of Ooo and ventures out with Finn and Jake.
Golf Wang Fashion Stop with Tyler (Thursday 5:30 p.m. – 6:30)
The latest fashion drops from Tyler’s Golf Wang clothing line. Either that or Tyler photo-bombing catwalks for an hour.
Cats! Cats! Cats! (Monday-Sunday 3:00 p.m. -4:00)
A half-hour segment where Tyler shows off all of his cat memorabilia.
OF World Wrestling League (Friday 8:00 p.m. – 10:00)
A spin-off of the video for Tyler’s single “Domo 23” that would pit Odd Future against each other. Domo vs. Left Brain! Sagan vs. Taco! Lucas vs. Jaspar! Tyler vs. Kane!
Tamale Time Cooking Show (Weekdays 5 a.m. – 5:15 a.m.)
Tyler and Chef Guy Fierri bring us a different tamale-themed recipe twice a week set to the tune of “Tamale.”
The Stan Hour with Tyler, The Creator (Weeknights 11:00 p.m. – 12:35 a.m.)
A late night talk show where Tyler invites his favorite artists and public figures to sit on his couch and tell them how much he loves them for an hour
