They aren’t quite superstars, but the trade is notable because this is somewhat of a gamble. They’re both trading their pillars. McCoy has been one of the few sure things of that Eagles offense, averaging 1,319 yards last season. Alonso stood out in his 2013 rookie season and became part of a formidable linebacker core — and somewhat of a folk hero.
