Earlier this week, the news of Chris Brown fathering a nine-month-old girl named Royalty went public. Sources reported Brown would pay the mother of his child, Nia Guzman, substantially more than the state requirement for child support, and Brown’s on-and-off girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, publicly distanced herself from Brown via Twitter. Saturday, TMZ reported Brown is allegedly reconsidering those increased payments because he believes Guzman has been leaking information to the press. TMZ reported the following:
We’re told Chris upped that amount and in return demanded that she keep her lips sealed. We know Chris now believes Nia has been leaking stories and talking about their relationship. As a result, our sources say his lawyers are now preparing legal docs, in which he will ask a judge for an order requiring him to pay child support. It sounds strange, but he’ll pay less than he does now.
Brown is currently on the road with Tyga and Trey Songz as part of the Between The Sheets Tour. Brown and Tyga’s Fan Of A Fan album was released February 20. You can read the full story at TMZ.com.
