Devon Still‘s little lady is a fighter. After promising reports in recent weeks of his daughter Leah‘s improving health, the family can now celebrate the news they’ve been waiting for: Leah is officially in remission.

Leah has battled a rare pediatric cancer, neuroblastoma, since last June, and was given a 50-50 chance of survival. Her father and Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle posted the news he’s been waiting for, with a photo of a fist-bumping Leah:

“After 296 days of day dreaming about what it would feel like to hear the doctors say my daughter is in remission, I finally know the feeling,” wrote Still, 25. “When I look at my daughter all I can do is smile and hug her … I’m so proud and blessed to call her my daughter.”

Still also added:

“Leah is not done with treatments yet,” he added. “She still needs more to make sure the cancer cells do not return and to build back up her immune system and other damage from the chemo but I know my little warrior will get through it!”

We’re sending a fist bump salute to the little warrior.
