Even thousands of miles away with his wife and daughter in Armenia, Kanye West found a way into this weekend’s pre-Coachella headlines. After debuting “Wolves” with Vic Mensa and Sia in February, Kanye West has tapped Save Money’s Mensa again for “U Mad.” The aggressive new offering finds Kanye getting an assist behind the boards from Stefan Ponce, Smoko Ono, and Mike Dean. And in typical Kanye fashion, West is joking about his tenuous relationship with the paparazzi.

“There go another lawsuit, it cost so much man, I should have went to law school / Everybody brawlin’ it was all cool / ‘Til I hit the bartender with the bar stool,” West raps.

Tuesday, West settled the aforementioned lawsuit with Daniel Ramos for an undisclosed amount. Meanwhile, “U Mad” co-producer Stefan Ponce gave Fader some details about potentially working on West’s upcoming album, tentatively titled So Help Me God. Ponce told Fader the tracks he’s heard are “definitely more poppy,” and he added the track he added drum programming to sounds exactly like Graduation. There’s currently no release date scheduled for the album, although West has previously said he plans to release it at some point in 2015.

You can read the full story at the Fader website. A stream of “U Mad” is available below.
