Chris Brown’s rep denies his involvement in the fight. His rep, Nicole Perna told CNN:

“Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on May 5th and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well,” Perna said in a statement. “He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.”

Chris Brown ideally wouldn’t have to deal with the court again after having his assault case against Rihanna closed a few months ago. But this is Chris Brown — things aren’t that simple.

Brown was one of the many celebrities at Las Vegas last weekend for the fight. He leaves as a suspect for battery because he allegedly punched someone in the face during a basketball match, according to ThisIs50.  The video TMZ caught of Brown playing against Jeremih doesn’t help his case.

Oddly enough, Brown just came from settling a case stemming from another physical altercation on a basketball court.

As of now, Brown has the choice of signing the citation for a misdemeanor battery and face the charge, or see the district attorney about the matter (which could still result in a charge). Which will he choose? And people still really throw hands over pickup basketball?
