The murder of Coke Boys rapper Chinx continues to ring out across the Internet with his fans and fellow rappers still publicly mourning his passing early on Sunday morning.
While they didn’t know Chinx as well as some of his friends and family, Rob and Khloe Kardashian, who were connected to him via Khloe’s ex-boyfriend French Montana, are reportedly taking the news hard and have switched up some of their daily habits as a result.
“It really was a huge wakeup call to both him and Khloe,” Radar Online cites an anonymous source as saying. “Of course they are increasing the security surrounding Khloe and Rob. Their house is on lockdown.”
“Aside from upping the security at the home they share, Khloe has also hired several more bodyguards,” the source added.
Beyond the added security, Radar Online also claims that Chinx’s death might even spur Rob Kardashian to check himself back into rehab. “Rob was very close friends with Chinx,” a source told the site. “Everyone in his family has been begging him to go and get help for quite some time.”
