Master P recently weighed in on the beef between Lil Wayne and Birdman.
Once a rival of Birdman because of the competition between Baby’s Cash Money Records and his own No Limit Records, P’s perspective within the Wayne and Birdman conversation holds clout.
“The advice I give Lil Wayne and Birdman is that y’all made money together,” P said during a recently published interview with HipHopWired. “Y’all family. You guys shouldn’t be at each other like that. Both these guys could go and be successful.”
The rap mogul went on to outline his belief that the two artists—who have been at odds since Wayne tweeted his dismay with Birdman and Cash Money last December—could still potentially work it out.
“I think what Birdman built is a great brand,” Master P says. “Lil Wayne is a hell of a talent. That’s what people wanna see. They wanna see us going at each other. They wanna see us killing each other. I feel like I think they could work it out. I feel like whatever it is, even if y’all gotta go your separate ways, I think y’all should go in peace.”
