This week, Rick Ross clawed his way out of oblivion with the releases of “Foreclosures” and “Money Dance.” Today (Sept. 3), Rozay treats us all with the release of his new mixtape Black Dollar, which finds the Miami Rapper seamlessly gliding over soulful instrumentals with his braggadocios rap. This isn’t Hood Billionaire. This is the Rick Ross that captured us all back in 2009-2013.
After being ostracized by fans for his lukewarm performance on Hood Billionaire, he ventured back into the studio with hopes of returning back to prominence. It appears that Ricky has reverted back to his old ways. Black Dollar has 17 tracks and has that same nostalgic sound that made Ross that biggest boss in hip-hop. With Meek Mill, Wale, The-Dream, Future, August Alsina, Anthony Hamilton, and more.
