Despite his own ambitions of running for President in 2020, Kanye West appears to have identified his ideal candidate to hold office before him.

According to BuzzFeed, Mr. West has donated an undisclosed amount to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

Clinton, who acted as President Obama’s Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, has been a favorite among the hip-hop community since announcing her plans to run in April of this year.

Among those who have endorsed her is Pharrell, who recently revealed his view that it’s “Hillary time.”

“It’s time for a woman to be in there,” Pharrell said during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Women think about things in a holistic way. It’s not so individual. I’m saying I’m happy to be a man, but I love women. The thing is, if we had somebody looking after our country that thought about things as a whole, I just feel like it just would be different. Not that I don’t love our current President, I just feel like it’s Hillary time.”

BuzzFeed also reports that Hillary Clinton’s camp spent $15,000 at Jay Z’s 40/40 Club, an upscale sports bar and lounge, on “catering, food and beverages” in September.

Elsewhere, Ja Rule admitted that he is #TeamHillary during an appearance on Fox Business News.
