Young Thug has had a busy 2015.

The Atlanta rapper made headlines daily in the weeks and months surrounding the release of his Barter 6 project. He then went on to drop two mixtapes in quick succession, Slime Season 1 and Slime Season 2 in September and October respectively. In and among all of his musical offerings, though, were the accusations that he was involved in the shooting of a Lil Wayne tour bus, as well as his public rift with The Gamea beef that ignited twice throughout the past year.

Nevertheless, Thug wants to round out the year with some new music and taking to Instagram yesterday (December 23), the Atlanta rapper announced Slime Season 3, the follow-up to the aforementioned mixtapes.

“SS3 OTW VERY VERY SOON … READY??” Thug writes in the post’s caption field.

This news comes shortly after Young Thug’s close friend and director, Be EL Be, announced that the Atlanta rapper has ten unreleased projects that he’s currently working on, including his collaborative project with Migos tentatively titled, MigoThuggin.
