BJ The Chicago Kid Pays Tribute To D'Angelo's "Voodoo" With New EP
BJ The Chicago Kid Pays Tribute To D’Angelo’s “Voodoo” With Three-Track EP (NEW MUSIC)
Now, this is the way we like to kick off 2016.
In an effort to pay homage to R&B veteran D’Angelo, Chicago singer/songwriter BJ The Chicago Kid releases a three-track project covering D’Angelo’s “Send It On,” “Untitled (How Does It Feel),” and Prince’s “She’s Always In My Hair,” which D’Angelo covered in 1997.
D’Angelo’s classic Voodoo LP will turn 16 this month, and this is the perfect way to celebrate such a great body of work.
BJ The Chicago Kid’s forthcoming In My Mind project is due out sometime this year. Stream his tribute to D’Angelo below.
