Put your knickers on.
Following the release of not one, but three new singles, Wondaland artist Jidenna releases the visual for his latest single “Knickers.”
Set in the 1940s, Jidenna and his crew attempt to go to a juke joint, but get turned down for wearing clothes perceived as peasant attire, aka knickers. It’s all good though, because Jidenna and friends hit up another spot that allows guests to come as they are. The Benny Boom-directed video also features some pretty great swing dance sequences mixed with modern-day dances like the dab.
Jidenna’s currently readying his forthcoming debut album, which is due out this year.
