Enjoy him this last year in office, folks. A president this dope will be hard to replace.

After a mic drop at his final State of the Union address this week, President Barack Obama granted an interview with YouTube to talk about everything from politics to rap music.

The interviewer initially brought up the infamous Drake vs. Meek Mill rap beef of 2015, and followed up by asking POTUS who’d win if Drake stepped to Kendrick Lamar.

“Gotta go with Kendrick,” he said. “I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick, his lyrics… His last album [To Pimp a Butterfly] was outstanding. Best album, I think, last year.”

It’s not hard to understand Obama’s backing of the Compton rapper. He named “How Much a Dollar Cost” his favorite song of 2015, and recently relished in an Oval Office conversation with K.Dot. In Khaled’s words, major key alert. Speaking of major keys, Kendrick also received the key to his hometown city of Compton this week.
