With iLoveMakonnen‘s Drink More Water 6 due out this Friday, the ATL crooner unleashes a new banger entitled “Solo.”
He premiered the track on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 radio show, revealing it’s about “getting out there and doing it by yourself.” The concept came about during a studio session when everyone else was tired, but Makonnen still wanted to knock out more songs.
So, the Atlanta eccentric hopped in the booth and created the track with no help. Like the sound we’ve come to love from the OVO Sound signee, the latest offering has Makonnen’s recognizable high-pitched voice gliding over the trap-heavy beat.
