Bobby Brown Wishes He Did More For Bobbi Kristina
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Bobby Brown says he wishes he did more to save both his ex-wife and daughter.
“I would have been there,” Brown said of Whitney Houston‘s death. “I would let her know I loved her, I cared for her and that she needs to take care of herself.”
Of Bobbi Kristina, he says he wishes he “could have saved her.” Bobbi Kristina, who Brown endearingly refers to as “Krissi,” died on July 26, 2015 after a six-month coma. Us Weekly reports that Bobbi Kristina died from lobar pneumonia, which resulted in a lack of oxygen and brain damage. A toxicology report also revealed drugs and alcohol in her system.
Brown says writing was a form of “therapy” in dealing with both women’s deaths. His new memoir, Every Little Step, is available now.
