Social media has turned into the live news this week following the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, who were senselessly killed by police officers.
Many celebrities have spoken out against police brutality and racism, but some are getting slammed for their stance, including Michael Jackson‘s son Prince Jackson.
The eldest child of the late star used the hashtag #AllLivesMatter while addressing the killings of the two Black men who were murdered within a day of each other by police – and of course, social media went off.

After being slandered on Twitter for almost two hours, Prince hopped back on to clarify his statements:
Although Prince says he “cried when I saw #AltonSterling son cry because I [know] what it’s like to have a father taken,” he says that he stands by his statement that all lives do matter.
