50 Cent is projected to sell between 150,000 and 160,000 records for “Before I Self Destruct” in its first week. Rick Ross sold 158,00 copies of his album, “Deeper Than Rap.” New rapper Wale is expected to sell 28,000 copies. This is after 50 Cent has made fun of Fat Joe’s sales as well as Triple C’s. 50 Cent sold 872,000 copies of “Get Rich, Or Die Trying” in its first week, “The Massacre” sold 1,140,000 and “Curtis” sold 691,000.
Obviously record sales aren’t what they used to be across the board but 50 has been generating a lot more attention for his skits and beef with other rappers than his music.
50 Cent has claimed that his site, thisis50.com gets 30 million unique views a month. After some research we saw that 50 Cent only gets more than 200,000 unique visitors per month.
