Around 2.30PM on Saturday, December 19, during a snowstorm, residents at the intersection of 14th and U Streets NW in D.C. started throwing snowballs at passing Hummers.

One of the cars pelted was driven by a plainclothes police officer identified only as Det. Baylor. Baylor got out of his car and brandished his gun at the crowd.

What do you think? Was the officer justified or was he overreacting? Also, how does race play into this since it was an African-American officer with a predominantly white crowd? Would it have been perceived differently if it were white officer with Black teens? Speak On it!
