The eclectic alternative hip-hop, rock, punk, new-wave, funk, electronic, R&B futurist (that was a mouthful) duo of J*DaVeY is back with a brand new video.
Jack Davey (aka she who was wearing the so-called “Cassie Haircut” years before Cassie started wearing it) and Brook D’leau (aka the guy with the girl’s name) star in the odd and trippy video for “Get Together” taken from their latest EP, Boudoir Synema: The Great Misstape.
For those who don’t know, J*DaVeY have been big on the underground scene for awhile now and have gotten co-signs from musical noteworthies such as Prince (who invited them to open for him in Las Vegas) and ?uestlove (who tapped Brook D’Leau to co-write the song “Here I Come” which is now used as the theme song for “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”)
Not sure what’s inside that door, but I’ll wait for Jack and Brook to hit me up and tell me it’s safe to go in.
