DETOX WATCH: Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg “Flashy”
It’s been awhile since we were promised that Dre/Jigga collab from Detox by Dre himself, but somehow another leak sprung from the Aftermath dam in the form of “Flashy.”
While this track isn’t a confirmed Detox song, I’d say the probability of it being intended for that album at some point in time is pretty high (no pun intended).
This unmastered snippet shows that “Flashy” is by no means a bad song, but it feels like something that would’ve been better suited for a mixtape rather than Dre’s 8-years-in-the-making-probably-be-released-the-day-after-D’Angelo’s-next-album-OMG-will-this-really-be-his-last-one?-album.
Oh well, back to the drawing board Dre…
