Method Man Pays Off The Taxman
After pleading guilty to tax evasion charges in Staten Island Criminal court yesterday, Method Man settled his debt with the IRS.
Method Man, 39, denied he was attempting to get away with not paying his taxes and blamed his accountants for the screw up.
He avoided jail time by forking over the final $40,000 that he owed him for unpaid New York State income taxes and was sentenced to a conditional discharge.
