Whitney Houston Being Sued By Stepmother
The mortgage woes continue for us all. Singer Whitney Houston is being sued by her stepmother, Barbara Houston, over a $1 million life insurance policy left by Houston’s father, John, after his death in 2003. Barbara states that the singer owes her $723,000 from the policy, which is supposed to go toward the mortgage on her father’s house, according to BBC News. The suit was filed in Newark, N.J., Dec. 17.
