Balfour Pleads Not Guilty In Hudson Murders
A murder indictment was issued against William Balfour — the man charged in the killings of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew — in a Chicago court Tuesday.
The estranged husband to Jennifer’s sister, Julia, pled not guilty to the October slayings of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and 7-year-old Julian King.
At the brief hearing, Balfour’s attorney asked that his client be moved from a state prison to Cook County to make communicating with his counsel easier.
The judge said he would rule on that during a Jan. 20 court date.
Balfour, who is also facing home invasion charges, was arrested on Dec. 1.
