Lloyd Banks Beats Assault Charge In Canada
G-Unit member Lloyd Banks won a major victory in court on July 15th when an Ontario judge dismissed criminal charges against the Queens, New York rapper.
The charges stemmed from an incident in January of 2010, when Lloyd Banks, born Christopher Lloyd and a group of men allegedly assaulted Chris Hines, a well known booking agent in Ontario, Canada.

Last week, Justice Michael Epstein dismissed all charges relating to the January incident, which sparked headlines around the world.
“After a careful and neutral evaluation of the facts, it is good to see that the system actually worked,” Banks’ United States attorney Scott Leemon stated. “With this finally behind him, Banks looks forward to coming back to Canada soon.”
